My mother gave birth to me in my grandmothers home in Mc Mahons Point in Sydney. I am a second child, my brother also born at home in a small terrace in Glebe. My younger brother was born in the Avalon Beach home which I grew up in.

Living and studying at Da a Luz was a wildly creative and radical year. I was not just learning from the Holistic, Postmodern Midwifery school, but the collective wisdom which the ‘birthing tribe’ in the community holds.
